Kla Tesse began with a shared belief between two mums: that true luxury lives in the process — in hours of handwork, subtle variations, and the care behind every decision.
As we searched for pieces for our own homes and families, we noticed a gap. Products that felt either practical but impersonal, or beautiful but lacking comfort and reassurance. We wanted something different — pieces that balanced safety, softness, and thoughtful design, without compromise.
One of us is an interior designer, instinctively drawn to colour, proportion, and balance. The other is a mum deeply attuned to comfort, safety, and the quiet details that shape everyday life. Together, we design pieces that feel considered and refined — calm palettes, distinctive prints, and finishes that are intentional, beautiful, and made to last.
Our collections move effortlessly through the home: baby quilts and muslins created for the softest beginnings, pyjamas and loungewear designed to be lived in, and table linen made for long, unhurried meals. Every piece is handcrafted by skilled artisans using natural fabrics and gentle dyes, shaped slowly and thoughtfully.
